OKF Builder Reference / Open Knowledge Format v0.2, explained for builders OKF v0.2
OKF OpenKnowledgeFormat

Interactive migration tool

Convert the mechanical parts. Review the claims yourself.

This assistant replaces a v0.1 timestamp, moves recognizable citation links into sources, and preserves anything it cannot convert safely. It never invents verification events or guesses which claim a source supports.

Input

v0.1 concept

Server processing. The browser sends this concept to the site server. The application converts it in memory and does not save the text to its database. Do not submit confidential material unless your policy permits server-side processing.

Output

v0.2 draft

Human review required

Direct answer

Use this tool for syntax migration, not trust decisions.

The assistant converts the mechanical v0.1 forms that have clear v0.2 replacements: a timestamp can become a producer event, and recognizable citation links can become structured sources. It leaves ambiguous claims visible for a person to review.

Input

One Markdown concept plus the real actor responsible for the migrated draft.

Output

A reviewable v0.2 draft and notes for content the converter could not classify safely.

Boundary

It does not verify sources, invent producers, or decide whether a concept is current.

Checked against the OKF v0.2 specification ↗. Guidance updated 2026-08-24.
